Are you ready to take brave action?

How many balls are you juggling today?

This was the question I recently asked a client when she mentioned she wasn’t focused on launching her new service offering this winter. She shared the long list of tasks demanding her attention—managing clients, overseeing her team, and constantly putting out fires.

It’s overwhelming, and I get it. There’s relentless pressure to stay on top of everything.

But here’s the truth: constantly doing isn’t the path to success. Real success lies in taking brave action and stepping fully into the role of leader—the steward of your agency’s vision.

Make no mistake, this shift requires serious bravery and belief that it’s possible for you.

Your agency needs your leadership, not just your effort.

It’s easy to think no one can do things as well as you, but staying stuck in the day-to-day dims your vision and mission. Parachuting in and fixing things, dilutes the creativity and problem-solving of your team. Directing your focus to low-value tasks diminishes the profitability and potential of your agency.

The journey from doer to leader isn’t easy. I’ve made that journey myself and have made it my life’s work to help my clients do the same.

Make no mistake, this journey isn’t for the faint of heart; you’ll carry with you, and eventually release, habits, beliefs, and fears that have held you back. The very things that have convinced you to keep doing and put your leadership on the back burner.

Moving from doer to leader requires you to take brave action.

By giving yourself permission to lead, and by taking this brave step, you protect your energy, you inspire your team, and you open space for your important work.

Tell me, what keeps you in the daily grind and away from your leadership?
